Description
Hunts Hill Cottage is a house that dates back to 1712, as indicated by the date on the tie beam. The left half features slight timber framing with whitewashed brick infill on the first floor, while the ground floor is made of whitewashed flint and brick. The right half was extended around 1800 and is constructed of whitewashed brick with a narrow band course on the first floor. The cottage has an old tile roof and a central brick chimney. It is one storey with an attic and consists of four bays. The ground floor has irregular 20th-century barred wooden casements, and the attic features three gabled dormers, one of which was enlarged in the 20th century and has renewed three-light wooden casements. The entrance is a central lobby with a board door and a lean-to hood supported by shaped brackets. The rear of the cottage has also been extended in the 20th century.
