Description

The lodge to Horwood House, built around 1911, is likely designed by Detmar Blow and Billerey. It is constructed of thin pale red brick with a tiled roof and features flanking brick chimneys. The building showcases moulded brick details, including a central round-headed arch with a keyblock and moulded imposts, surrounded by panelled pilasters with moulded caps and an open pediment above. The central section of the lodge extends above the eaves. On either side, there are single-storey and attic bays that contain leaded casements, with three lights on the ground floor and two lights in the dormers. To the left, there is a small extension with a flat roof.
