Description

42 Church Street is a building from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a Welsh slated roof. The building has two storeys and includes two sash windows with glazing bars; the windows have reveals on the first floor and are flush on the ground floor, which is beneath a stucco lintel. There is a half-glazed door set in a reveal, topped by an open pediment supported by console brackets. The building is noted for its contribution to the street scene.
