Description

Lindley House is a mid-18th century building that features a red brick refacing of a 17th-century house. It stands two storeys tall and has a cornice band and a parapet. The central section is three windows wide and is flanked by brick pilasters. Above the central door, there is a dummy window with a cut bracketed hood. The building has two sash windows with glazing bars set in reveals beneath flat arches. The end sections beyond the pilasters include a secondary door on the left and an elliptical carriage arch on the right. Lindley House is part of a group that includes Nos 46 to 58 on the south side of Church Street.
