Description
North Lodge and South Lodge to The Bury are two entrance lodges built in the 18th century. They are constructed of red brick and feature hipped slate roofs. Each lodge is a single storey with one window facing the road and two windows facing the other lodge. The windows are twelve-pane sashes set within cambered architraves. The lodges have panelled parapets, end quoins, and a plinth. The central doorcases are in round-headed arches, adorned with 'Gothick' glazing in the fanlights. The porches have Tuscan columns, while the entablature is in the Roman Doric style, featuring triglyphs.
