Description

Nos 4 to 9 on Bury Lane are a row of cottages dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed of flint rubble with red brick quoins and dressings, topped with old and machine tiled roofs. The cottages are two storeys high, and each features a cut bracketed hood over the door, as well as one flush casement window with glazing bars on each floor. The ground floor includes a cambered relieving arch. This group of cottages is noted for its architectural significance.
