Description
Numbers 15 and 19, known as Pyghtles Cottage, are two houses dating from the 17th century and early 18th century. They feature a timber frame with colourwashed brick infill, and the gable facing the street has been rebuilt in brick. The roof is thatched and half-hipped to the right. There are brick chimneys located between the outer bays, with the right chimney made of thin brick and a 20th-century chimney at the front right. The buildings are 1½ storeys high and consist of four bays, with irregular 20th-century leaded casements, including two on the first floor under the thatch. A 20th-century door is located in the second bay. There is also a lean-to extension made of colourwashed render with a tiled roof at the front and side of the right bay, which has similar casements and a door.
