Description
Cottesloe is a house dating from the 17th century that has been altered and restored around 1980. It features a timber frame with colourwashed render infill and a brick plinth. The right gable was rebuilt in pale brick during the 19th century. The house has a tiled roof and an old brick chimney located between the left bays, with a later chimney to the left of the right bay. It is one storey and attic in height, comprising three bays, with the right bay being slightly taller. The windows are wooden casements with single horizontal glazing bars, featuring three lights on the ground floor and two lights in the gabled eaves-line dormers. The first floor of the left bay also has a blocked original three-light window with chamfered and narrow mullions. There is a 20th-century lean-to porch projection between the right bays, which has two single lights with cast iron lattice glazing bars at the front, and a 20th-century door in a pointed arch on the right side. Additionally, there is a 20th-century extension at right angles to the rear.
