Description

This is a barn dated 1830, located 20 meters east of Stocken Farmhouse. It features a timber frame with 20th-century weatherboarding and a corrugated iron roof. The barn has six bays, with bays 2 and 5 having hipped projecting wagon entries; the right entry is now completely boarded and lacks doors. There are double boarded doors on the opposite side at the rear. Lean-to weatherboard extensions are present on the outer bays, and there is a 20th-century concrete block lean-to situated between the entries. Inside, the barn has curved principal trusses, with the main posts featuring shaped jowls and curved braces supporting the tie beams.
