Description
Old Tile House is a house dated 1693, constructed of brick in part English bond on a stone plinth. It features an old tile roof with coped gables and brick end stacks set on moulded stone bases. The building has two storeys, cellars, and an attic, with a first-floor string course. The southeast front consists of five bays, which include wooden mullion and transom windows, as well as two hipped dormers with paired casements. The central bay is gabled and projects outward, showcasing round windows on the attic and ground floor return walls. The entrance door is adorned with a carved stone coat of arms and has a date panel above it. Four semi-circular moulded stone steps lead up to the door.
