Description
The Nook is a cottage dating from the 18th century, with an extension added around 1980. It is constructed from witchert, which is colourwashed and rendered, and features a thatched roof. The original cottage consists of three bays and is a single storey, while the 1980 extension is also single storey, rendered and colourwashed, with a pantiled roof. The main cottage has a door located between the eastern bays, with 2-light casements in the flanking bays. The roof is hipped at the west end, and there are gable stacks at the east end and between the western bays. Inside, the cottage includes chamfered and stopped spine beams. The extension connects to the main cottage through a link with a board door and a pantile roof. It also has a 2-light casement on the return side and a single casement on the north gable elevation.
