Description

This is a house, now divided into three dwellings, dating back to the 17th century, and altered over time. The house is timber-framed with infill of whitewashed brick and render, and has an old tile roof. A distinctive feature is the large square chimney made of thin brick with 'V' pilasters between the left bays, with a later brick chimney to the right. The right gable has been rebuilt in brick. The house is two storeys and has an attic. It has barred wooden casement windows; the ground floor windows are 3-light, the upper floor windows are 2-light, with those in the left bay dating to the 20th century and the others to the 19th century. A board door is set within a small, slated porch between the right bays. A 20th-century conservatory has been added to the right, and a 20th-century extension, set back from the main building, provides entry to one of the dwellings. The interior reveals diagonal braces, and in the centre bay is a stop-chamfered spine beam with run-out stops.
