Description
Baker's Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century that has been altered over time. It features a timber frame with diagonal braces and has colourwashed render infill. The cottage has a 20th-century tiled roof and a brick chimney at the rear, forming an L-plan structure. It is one storey high with an attic and has two bays on the front. The ground floor includes old leaded windows, with one three-light casement in a wooden architrave frame to the right and two paired casements. The upper floor features a 20th-century paired leaded casement in a gabled eaves-line dormer to the right. There is a four-panelled door in a wooden architrave frame located between the right windows. The rear wing also has 20th-century leaded casements, and there is a small tiled oven projection at the centre of the right side. Additionally, there is a 20th-century single-storey extension at the rear.
