Description
Nos. 34 and 36 on Church Street in Quainton are a house dating from the 17th century, which has been altered over time. The building features colourwashed render and brick, with some exposed timber-framing, and is topped with a 20th-century tiled roof. It has been constructed in an L-plan and is 1½ storeys tall with two bays, the left bay projecting. The windows are irregular paired barred wooden casements, with one single light located on the ground floor of the right gable. There is a boarded door in the right side wall of the left bay. At the rear, there is a 19th-century two-storey extension made of whitewashed brick, which includes one bay of sash windows.
