Description
Meadowcroft is a house built in the mid to late 18th century, with an extension added to the left in 1879. The original two bays feature a flint plinth and chequer brick with dark glazed headers on the ground floor, a first-floor band course, and a brick upper storey decorated with a pattern of dark glazed crosses. The house has an old tiled roof and a central brick chimney, standing two storeys tall. The windows are 20th-century barred wooden casements, with a two-light window in the left bay and a three-light window with an altered head on the ground floor to the right. The lower left window has a flat brick arch, and there is a flush-panelled door to the right. The 1879 extension is also constructed of brick and features two storeys with similar three-light casements, a blocked doorway to the right, and a lean-to shed at the left end. The original rear lean-to has been altered to two storeys in the 20th century.
