Description
Piranor Barn and Bramble Barn are two houses and an outbuilding that were originally barns, dating from the late 18th century and converted in the mid-1970s. The main barns are timber framed and feature 20th-century weatherboard cladding, while the outbuilding has a similar style but includes a flint and brick wall facing the road. They are topped with old tile roofs and have a 20th-century brick chimney at the junction of the main barns. The buildings form three sides of a former farmyard.
Piranor Barn, located on the south side, consists of three bays with one storey and an attic, along with two lower bays at the eastern end. The side facing the yard has irregular 20th-century single lights and skylights, while the south side features a door in a gabled projection at the center, which was formerly a cart entry, along with other irregular lights. Bramble Barn is similar in design, comprising five bays with a central door beneath a lean-to hood on the west side. The outbuilding includes three stable-type doors and one window, all from the 20th century.
