Description
Paddock Barn and Barn Lodge are two houses that were originally barns, likely built in the late 18th century. The main barn features a date of 1704 marked on its tie beams. The buildings were converted into dwellings around 1980. They have a timber frame with 20th-century weatherboarding and a rebuilt brick plinth. The main barn has an old tile roof and two 20th-century brick chimneys. It is a single storey with an attic and consists of three bays, featuring seven single lights, three skylights, an off-centre door, and a lower garage bay to the right. The lower range to the right is single storey with a 20th-century tile roof, four single lights, and an entrance in a 20th-century flint and brick range that is at right angles to the rear. The structure includes queen strut trusses.
