Description
Grange Farmhouse is a house that is now derelict, dating from the 15th to early 16th century, with alterations made in the 17th and 19th centuries. The structure features some timber framing with brick infill on the upper storey, while the rest has been rebuilt in brick. There is a 19th-century extension made of flint and brick on the left side. The building has an old tiled roof and a brick chimney situated between the right bays. It stands two storeys high and has three bays in total. The windows are leaded and wooden casements, but all are boarded up. The entryway is also boarded. A small single-storey brick extension from the 20th century is located on the left. The right bay has collapsed, leaving one blade of a cruck truss visible in the rear right corner and exposing a central cruck. There is another cruck truss in the wall between the left bays, with all cruck blades terminating just above the collar.
