Description
The garages to the Old Rectory and the 70 metres of boundary wall to Dean Way and School Lane are 18th century outbuildings, originally likely used as stables, now serving as garages and a garden store. The structure consists of five bays and two builds, featuring shallow buttresses on the road front and a flint plinth on the two right-hand bays. The east gable is timber-framed with brick infill, and the roof is supported by queen strut roof trusses, covered with old tiles. The boundary wall is constructed of brick on a flint plinth, topped with brick on edge coping, and includes raking buttresses at two points. Most of the features date back to the 18th century.
