Description
The barn at Broughton Farm is an 18th-century structure. It features a timber frame resting on a brick plinth and is weatherboarded. The roof, which was originally tiled, is now covered with polythene sheeting for protection. The barn has gabled cart entries that are flanked by outshots. Inside, there are six bays with braced tiebeams, queen strut trusses, and curved windbraces.
