Description
Fillingdon Farmhouse is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century, which has been extended in the 20th century to include a former early 19th-century granary. The building is constructed of flint with brick dressings and features an old tile roof, along with a central brick chimney that has an arched panel. The farmhouse has a T-plan layout with 20th-century lean-to extensions at the rear. It stands two storeys high with an attic and originally consists of two bays. There is a narrow band course at the first floor level. The ground floor has sash windows, with a 5-pane window to the left and a 20th-century 6-pane window to the right. The first floor features three-light wooden casements with single horizontal glazing bars, and a small two-light window is located in the centre of the first floor above a 20th-century gabled brick porch that has a panelled door. The 20th-century extensions to the right connect the house with the former granary, which is two storeys high and has one bay of paired barred wooden casements, along with a 20th-century lean-to on the right.
