Description
A pair of cottages dating from the 18th century, located in Dinton-with-Ford and Gibraltar Upton. The cottages are constructed of rubblestone with brick dressings and have a thatched roof. They comprise a left bay, Meadows Edge, and the remaining three bays, Morland Cottage. Modern rubblestone thatched porches shelter the entrances; the entrance to Meadows Edge is off-centre, with a three-light leaded front window above. The entrance to Morland Cottage is positioned between the left bays, with a two-light front window above. Meadows Edge has a four-light leaded ground floor casement window beneath an oak lintel. Morland Cottage has three ground floor casement windows; the outer two have segmental brick arches, and the central one has an oak lintel. Three-light casement windows are found on the first floor of both cottages. Chimneys are located between bays one and two, and between bays three and four.
