Description
Westlington Lodge is a lodge cottage built in the early 19th century in the cottage ornée style. The building is constructed of witchert, which is colourwashed and rendered, and features a thatched roof along with a verandah. It has two bays and is one and a half storeys high. The ground floor is surrounded by a thatched verandah that has open thatched gables at the centre of each side, with the eastern gable serving as a porch that leads to a boarded door. The verandah is supported by plain posts. The windows are iron latticed cross-casements. The hipped thatch roof eaves nearly meet the thatch of the verandah. There are central gables on the east and west sides, each with iron latticed cross casements, and a central stack is present.
