Description

The Cottage is a late 17th-century cottage situated in Dinton-with-Ford and Gibraltar Upton. It is constructed of wicher, rendered and colourwashed, with a colourwashed rubble plinth. The roof is thatched and swept over a single-storey addition to the right. The cottage is one and a half storeys high, originally two bays with a single-storey bay added to the right. The road-facing front has a modern segmental oriel window in the right-hand ground floor bay. The west or garden elevation features a door on the right and irregular ground floor casement windows. There are three two-light casement windows on the first floor. A central stack is present. The south gable is half-hipped and includes a three-light casement window.
