Description

This is a 17th-century cottage located on Chapel Road in Dinton-with-Ford and Chapel Upton. The building is constructed of wattle and daub, with a colourwashed and rendered finish on a rubble plinth. It has a thatched roof, half-hipped to the left side. The cottage has two bays and an upper storey with dormers. A central door is made of timber, and there are two-light casement windows with timber lintels. A two-light leaded eaves dormer is present, as is a timber-framed gable. The cottage is recorded in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments (RCHM) volume I, page 127, and in the Monument record MON.25.
