Description
Rose Cottage, along with its attached outbuilding, is a cottage dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of witchert, which is colourwashed and roughcast, sitting on a rubble plinth. The gables are made of brick, and the cottage features a thatched roof. The building consists of two bays and one and a half storeys. There is a central door located in a modern gabled porch, and it has two-light casement windows, with the upper ones functioning as eaves dormers. The brick gables are adorned with a dentilled band, and there is a stack on the left side. The outbuilding is also made of witchert on a rubble plinth and has a thatched roof that is half-hipped to the right, featuring a central door, likely from the early 19th century.
