Description

The entrance gates at Borlase School, dating from the early 19th century, are located on the northwest side of West Street. They consist of a screen and gates that match the main screen at Remnantz. The design features plain rails and a gate situated between two circular brick piers, which have moulded stone bases and caps topped with stone balls. These gates, along with Nos 76 to 92 (even) and No 104, form a cohesive group.
