Description
The Cottages are a row of semi-detached estate cottages, built around 1830. Originally comprising 12 cottages, the row is now divided into six blocks. They were constructed as housing for Biddlesden Park. The cottages are built of chequer brick, with slate roofs, central paired chimney stacks, and decorative waved eaves and bargeboards. Minimal brick pilasters are present at the angles and between the cottages. Each two-bay cottage has two storeys, with barred casement windows and a central door, each with a thin hood-mould above.
