Description
The balustrade and steps in front of Biddlesden Park House are an ornamental feature dating from the mid-18th century. The structure consists of a rubble stone retaining wall that is complemented by ashlar square piers and balusters. The balustrade is segmental in shape, with straight sections on either side and a central flight of nine steps that previously had a balustrade leading down to the lawn.
