Description
No. 3 Mursley Road is a house that was originally a pair of cottages, built in the 17th century and altered in the 18th century and later. The left gable and the rear of the left half are timber-framed, with the gable featuring brick infill that is partly whitewashed, while the rear has rendered and whitewashed infill. The front of the house was rebuilt in brick during the 18th century and late 19th century. It has a tiled roof that is half-hipped on the left side and hipped on the right.
There is a brick chimney situated between the left-hand bays, which has a thin brick base at the rear. The house is two storeys high with three bays and a lobby entry. It features late 19th-century tripartite sash windows with segmental heads, and there are paired sashes above the lobby entry. Additionally, there are two half-glazed doors with segmental heads, one located between the left bays and the other to the right.
