Description
The Estate Office, built around 1880-90, possibly by James Williams, serves as both offices and a house. The building features red brick on the ground floor and whitewashed roughcast on the first floor, complemented by half-timbering in the gables. It has tiled roofs with moulded bargeboards that include dentils, and brick chimneys with groups of square shafts set diagonally. The structure is 1½ storeys tall and consists of 2 bays to the north. It has leaded casements, with the left bay showcasing 2-light casements—one on the ground floor with a small gable above and a dormer window above. The right bay features a 4-light transomed casement on the ground floor. Between the bays, there is a pair of doors that lead to a porch supported by 2 segmental wooden arches. The left side of the building has a gabled bay with a 2-storey bay window to the left and a hipped roof over the porch and projection to the right. This building is included for its group value.
