Description
Nos. 56, 58, and 60 High Street is a house that has been converted into three cottages, dating from the 17th century with some alterations. The left bay features an exposed timber frame with colourwashed render infill, while the right-hand bays are covered with colourwashed roughcast. The building has an old tile roof that is half-hipped to the left, with brick chimneys located on the right and between the left bays.
It is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The windows are 20th-century barred wooden casements, with a four-light window on the ground floor of the right bay and a three-light window in the centre. No. 56, on the left, has an irregular layout with two paired casements on the first floor, a three-light window on the ground floor to the left, a single light to the right of the door, and a basement window to the left. The right bay includes a skylight. Nos. 56 and 58 have board doors, with No. 58 featuring a tiled hood, while No. 60 has a 20th-century door.
