Description
Vicarage Lodge is a house dating from the 17th century that has been altered and extended over time. It retains significant parts of its original timber frame. The front of the building features a ground floor that was rebuilt in brick in the late 18th century, while the first floor is covered in whitewashed roughcast and planking, which may be over the timber frame. The roof is made of old tiles, and there is a brick chimney located to the right of the center. The house is two storeys high and has two bays with 18th to early 19th century three-light diamond leaded casement windows. There is an additional 20th century two-light leaded casement window to the left. The right gable includes 20th century casements and a porch leading to an outshut. There are also 19th and 20th century extensions at the rear.
