Description

This is a cottage dating from the 17th to early 18th century, with alterations made in the early 19th century. Some of the original timber framing is visible, with the left gable covered in planking. The front facade has been rebuilt using red and vitreous brick, featuring raised dentil eaves. The roof is of old tile, and there is a brick chimney on the left side. The cottage is two storeys high and has one and a half bays. The ground floor of the main bay has a 20th-century four-light wooden casement window with a cambered head and a small single light to the left. Two 20th-century paired wooden casement windows with board shutters are on the first floor, the one to the right above a 20th-century door with a tiled hood supported by small cut brackets. A passage is located to the right.
