Description
The Queen's Head is a public house and shop that dates from the mid to late 18th century and has been altered over time. It features colour-washed roughcast over brick and has an old tile roof with a brick chimney situated between the right-hand bays. The building was originally L-shaped and consists of two storeys and three bays. The first floor has three-light barred wooden casement windows. On the ground floor, the left side has a similar window with a segmental head, while the centre bay features a canted bay window with a barred wooden window at the front, four-pane sashes on the sides, and a moulded cornice at the top. The right bay has a 20th-century shop front, and there are 20th-century extensions with an entry in the rear angle.
