Description

Manor Cottage is a house dating from the 17th to 18th century. It has two bays and is timber framed with rendered and colorwashed infill. The roof is covered with old tiles and features a rebuilt central brick chimney. The building is in an L-shape, with a wing at right angles to the rear. It stands two storeys high with an attic. The windows are three-light leaded casements, although the ones on the right are from the 20th century. There is a central lobby entry that has a 20th-century door set in a trellis porch, and an attic window is located in the right gable. A 19th-century extension to the left was demolished in 1989.
