Description

The pump located at the rear of Number 8 in Buckingham is an early 19th-century cast-iron structure. It features a tall octagonal pump head that tapers from a plain octagonal base with a top moulding. The sides of the pump head are decorated with incised panel ornamentation and key patterns below the cap. The cap itself has a plain octagonal base and key patterns on its rounded conical top. There is a nozzle on one side of the pump. The pump handle was reinstated in the 20th century.
