Description
Nos. 3-5 Bell Walk are two small houses that were originally a single three-bay house, dating from the 17th to early 18th century. The timber frame is exposed inside, while the front and left gable are finished with whitewashed render and a black painted bandcourse. The houses have a tiled roof and a brick stack located between the left-hand bays. They are two storeys high with an attic and consist of three bays. The windows are leaded, featuring two-light windows in the right-hand bays and a four-light window on the ground floor left with a three-light window above. There is a 20th-century three-light casement window in a hipped dormer. A ledged six-panel door is situated between the left-hand bays, while a 20th-century door with a minimal wooden surround and a hood on brackets is found between the right-hand bays.
