Description

The Bull is an 18th-century public house, altered subsequently. The front is built of plum-coloured brick, with a rendered plinth and a colourwashed brick gable to the right. The left gable is also rendered. It has moulded brick eaves, an old tile roof, and brick stacks to the gables and between the left-hand bays. The building is two storeys and an attic, with three bays. It features paired 19th-century sash windows, those on the ground floor with gauged brick heads. There are hipped dormers with 19th-century paired wooden casements and moulded cornices. The main entrance consists of double 20th-century doors in a reeded frame, surrounded by minimal Doric columns and an entablature. A single-storey extension to the left mirrors the style, with a similar paired sash window.
