Description
This barn and byre range, located about 30 yards north of Gilts Farmhouse, was built at right angles to the road and dates from the 17th century, with later additions and alterations. It is constructed of slobbered rubble with quoins, set on a plinth, and features a graduated slate roof with stone copings and kneelers. The structure is a single tall storey and approximately six bays long. The roadside elevation includes a central plank door with a chamfered surround, a small casement window to the left, and a blocked owl-hole above. The adjoining buildings are not of interest.
