Description

Abbotsleigh is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of rubble and has a stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high, with three windows on the first floor. It features quoins, and a central part-glazed door within a plain stone surround, now protected by a 20th-century gabled porch. Either side of the entrance are 20th-century casement windows. The first floor has six-pane sash windows set in ashlar surrounds. Shaped kneelers and ashlar copings top the roof, and there are end stacks.
