Description

This is a double barn with a pigsty and hen house, likely built in the 18th century. It is constructed from random rubble and has a slate roof. The barn features two segmental-headed entrances with paired doors; the entrance on the right includes a round-headed inserted door and a fixed timber upper section. On the left side, there is a lean-to outshut that has steps leading to a first-floor entrance at the front and pigsty enclosures, with openings for hens above on the return side. The rear of the barn has a continuous outshut beneath a catslide roof. Inside, the barn contains tiebeam and strut trusses.
