Description
Wendal and the house to the north-east are two houses built in the late 18th century to early 19th century. They are constructed of coursed rubble with a stone slate roof and stand three storeys tall, featuring four first-floor windows. The right side has quoins. There are two doors with six fielded panels set in architraves on plinths. The ground floor has five sash windows, while the first floor features sash windows with glazing bars, with the two on the right having deep sills and sill-like lintels. The second floor includes three 9-pane unequally-hung sash windows and one casement window in the same style. A fluted lead rainwater head is located between the first and second bays. There is a shaped kneeler on the right side, and chimney stacks are positioned at both ends and between the second and third bays. This building is included for its group value.
