Description

This is a bridge over Grisdale Beck, located approximately 50 meters east of East Scale Farmhouse. It was likely built in the late 17th century and, although it is in a dilapidated condition, it remains functional. The bridge is constructed from coursed rubble and features a small segmental arch made of rubble voussoirs. The deck is humped and currently lacks parapets. The bridge is part of a group with East Scale Farmhouse, contributing to the charm of this isolated location.
