Description

Home Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. It is built of rubble with a stone slate roof and has two storeys. The facade features a symmetrical arrangement with one window in the first bay, one in the second, and two in the third and fourth bays on the first floor. The building has quoins at the ends and between the second and third, and the fourth and fifth bays.

The first bay is slightly recessed and includes a boarded door set in a chamfered quoined surround, which has a recessed panel and raised characters reading "1661 EH," indicating that the doorway may have been reused. Above this, there is a sash window in a chamfered ashlar surround on the first floor. To the right of the second bay, there is a part-glazed door also in an ashlar surround. In the fourth bay, another part-glazed door is situated below a four-pane overlight, again in an ashlar surround.

The farmhouse features 19th-century two-light double-chamfered mullion windows that contain sashes, as well as 20th-century casements and diamond-pane casements. The roof has shaped kneelers, with the one to the right being broken, and ashlar coping. There are stacks located at the ends of the building, to the left of the second bay, and at the ends of the central two bays.
