Description
The Easternmost Farmhouse and adjoining granary, dated 1664 above the enriched door lintel, is located in Mallerstang. The building features coursed rubble with quoins and has stone-flagged roofs, complete with a stone mid-chimney and kneelers. It is two storeys high and consists of five bays. The original door, which is dated, is situated in a porch and is accompanied by a three-light mullioned window to the left. Above, there is a two-light mullioned window with arched heads. Some of the other mullioned windows have had casements inserted. To the extreme right, there is a part-glazed 20th-century door. The granary, added to the north end and under the same roof, has a segment-headed wagon door with loft access to the left above. An adjoining barn range at the south end is not included in the listing.
