Description

Milestone dating from around 1761, located facing the junction with Cams Road on the north side of the low Abbotside Askrigg-Sedbergh Road. It is made of sandstone and stands approximately 600 millimeters high, featuring a rounded shaft on a square base. The inscription is weathered, with "A 2" on the left and "S 19" on the right.
