Description
Old Hall is a farmhouse located in Bainbridge, dating from the 17th century with alterations made in the mid to late 19th century. The building is constructed of rubble and features a stone slate roof. It has two storeys and three first-floor windows, along with an added single-storey outbuilding to the front right.
Notable architectural features include a board door situated between the second and third bays, which is framed by a chamfered, quoined ashlar surround that has roll moulding on the arris, a triangular soffit to the lintel, and a hoodmould. The farmhouse also has three-light double-chamfered mullion windows, each with its own hoodmould. There are stacks at both ends of the building, as well as between the first and second bays and the second and third bays, with an additional stack located in the second bay.
On the rear elevation, sash windows are regularly spaced. The gabled outbuilding features a board door and a four-pane window.
