HIGH ABBOTSIDE SEDBERGH-ASKRIGG ROAD SD 89 SE (north side) 7/154 Milestone approximately 40 metres west of Bird Gill - II Milestone. Late C18. Sandstone. Damaged stone, approximately 600 millimetres high, cylindrical on square base, with weathered rounded top. To left, "A 3"; to right, "S 17". On the Askrigg-Sedbergh Turnpike Road of 1761.
