Description
Manor House and railings, dated 1781, located on the north side of Bainbridge along the A684. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with a stone slate roof and features cast-iron railings. It has two storeys and two bays, with quoins at the corners. The central entrance consists of a 20th-century glazed door framed by an ashlar surround topped with a cyma recta cornice. The house includes 4-pane sash windows with deep sandstone sills and lintels, and there are end stacks. On the right side, there is a lead rainwater head cast with the letter "E" and the legend "G M." In front of the house, there is ashlar saddleback coping from 1781, accompanied by railings that have fleurs-de-lis finials.
